The issue of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) will be discussed in the meeting of opposition leaders at Sharad Pawar’s residence. According to the agency, the meeting to be held at Sharad Pawar’s residence will be attended by all political parties who doubt the efficiency of EVMs.

There will be a meeting at Sharad Pawar’s residence in New Delhi at 6 pm on Thursday, where leaders of opposition parties will present their views. Sharad Pawar said that the meeting has been called in the interest of free and fair elections and to hear the views expressed by eminent IT professionals and cryptographers.
The civil society wrote a letter to the Election Commission in May 2022 and sent a reminder two weeks later. The ECI did not even acknowledge their letter. Now the common man is also expressing his doubts about the possibility of disturbances in EVMs.
